I think you would find that the energy efficiency was pretty close. A single pane is probably only slightly more efficient and doors are not very energy efficient anyway.

Brazilian oak doesn't exist. It is just like African Mahogany, which is sapele and doesn't hold a candle to the real thing. As for that wood, that is not even oak to begin with.

Would have loved to see how the door interfaces with the ADA compliant sill and a better explanation as to why it may not be as weather tight as a traditional raised sill. Really though, it is the best video out there explaining types and limitations.

I like the REEB paint quality and respect it. however, i dont like that im buying a 10k door with thermatru and its being put together with their parts by a 3rd party door assembly company. you would think that thermatru would be the ones putting this door together since its that much, but thats not the case.

I had a PanoLock multi-point system installed with a Wi-Fi keypad. When the door is locked the center is not actually locked and if you depress the lever from inside or outside the center latch is depressed. So in reality it is only a 2 point locking system. My installer told me this is how it is supposed to work but I challenge that as it does not make sense to have 3 locking points if only 2 of them actually lock. I am curious if what I was told is accurate

I did exactly this. And got the wrong door. Now this was a mobile home company, but I looked it up and they were right, at least on another website. They told me whichever side the hinge is on (from the outside of house) is the hand it is. If it hinges on the left and swings IN, it’s a left hand. If it hinges in the left and swings OUT, it’s a left hand reverse. And same for the right. I don’t get how this can be so confused. Costing me a days drive to replace.
